Between 6.00pm and 8.00am and at weekends and public holidays, our telephone lines divert to the Manx Emergency Doctor Service.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
For advice and treatment for minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, sore throats, aches, pains or tummy trouble, visit a pharmacy. Pharmacists are highly-trained qualified healthcare professionals and you don’t need an appointment. Some are open until late and at weekends. Find a pharmacy.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is:
Short of breath and/or chest pains.
Seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
