Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Practice Manager
Mandy Phillips manages all business aspects of the practice including human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals to ensure deliver of high quality patient services.
Administration Team
We currently employ 13 staff, under the supervision of Practice Manager, Mandy Phillips. We have an experienced administrative team who are also wonderful care navigators based at the Ramsey Group Practice who deal with appointments, telephone enquiries, processing prescriptions, registrations and other aspects of administration of the practice. They are asked by us, the GP’s, to ask a few questions in order for them to place you with the most suitable clinician or sign post you to those best placed to help you. They are here to help you, so please remember they have a busy and sometimes difficult job.

Wellbeing Partnerships are a locally-based team who provide co-ordinated support for people to help them stay well in their own community through a single point of referral.
Wellbeing Partnerships bring together statutory health and social care services as well as third sector organisations and domiciliary care agencies to deliver a seamless, multi-agency, person-centred health and social care service that will deliver better outcomes for our population.

Community Nurses
They provide skilled nursing care to patients in their own homes. Your doctor will arrange for one of our district nurses to visit when needed.

Health Visitors
Health visitors are experienced nurses and midwives who have had additional special training. They have a special interest in care and assessment of babies and young children and care of the elderly. They may be contacted by phoning 811840 between 09.00 - 1O.OO and 16.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
